I think your best bet for this matter would to consult a doctor. I hate to sound like a preacher, but that seems to make sense to me. If you're worried, maybe you should consult a doctor whom who don't know or don't see on a regular basis.

A tumor or a gall stone ??? A tumor can be scary if it's milignant. A gall stone is just calcium and they can take that out. You can live without your gallbladder. ( I haven't had one since 93).
They take the gallbladder out laproscopicly now. 4 small incisions in your stomach region (and one in your belly button thats for the air that blows you up, so they can see what they're clipping off.) Takes about 30-45 mins and you leave the next day.
I'm sure taking a tumor with the gallbladder is about the same, but they study the tumor to make sure it's not cancer.

Have your gallbladder removed - if you've been diagnosed with a tumor on it, I'm surprised if the doctor didn't already suggest removal of the organ.

Naw, that's weak how about an alien infected tumor developing throughout your whole body. Sooner or later all of the alien eggs will hatch and bust out of your body.

Only a Dr can tell you that but you CAN live without a gallbladder.
