Why did God create us, then lives us here to struggle?

We struggle because of sin. God did not create man to live in a fallen world. It fell because man disobeyed God. Even in our struggles, He is with us, if you believe in Him and realize that you are a sinner that needs salvation, and that is found through His son.

Even our struggles can turn into victories, if you trust God and know Jesus is always with you and will not let you fall.

I think questions like these should be answered and found by the asker. However my opinion will be posted. I think at a point when we were all one or a part of God we had the understanding of things as God would. I think a part of God or us wanted more like a duality. I think Adam and Eve were the first to depart from God and also the first to look into God fully from earth (tree of knowledge/Knowing the truth between good and evil). So I think it maybe for the experience alone. If this experience fails it was a lesson. However I don't know for sure. These have been things I have felt but I will not know until I am there.

Depends what you mean by 'struggle.'

Every problem is also an opportunity to learn, and grow.

We succeed to the level that we can struggle and solve problems. A level 3 problem will absolutely stump the level 2 guy, whereas a level 5 problem will be nothing to a level 9 guy. If there is a problem with which you're struggling, ask yourself, "is this the problem that defines my worth?"

Perhaps, then, problems are what God has put into our lives to teach us lessons in life. Pass the test, learn more about yourself, go up another level of confidence and capability.

May the foce be with you.

God is not human and doesn't care about us. Our job is to fill up space until we die as a species and rot in the ground forever. All the loving sacrifices of our parents, ourselves, and our ancestors will be for nought. It will be like some kind of cruel practical joke on a cosmic scale. God gives us minds to contemplate hope when there is no hope.

Drink lots of beer. It'll shut up your questions long enough to ease your pain. Give it a try.

Good question. The only purpose I know of is to live in truth or life. The ego needs a purpose, needs the past, & the future. The only law I know of is the law of karma & karma is no god. Karma can be transended. Go within, find the pure awareness that you "are". It was never born, so can never die. Good luck my friend.

Jess: We have been created to have a relationship with our Creator. We experience the struggles and pain of this life because we are human ( composed of flesh ). Pain teaches us that we are NOT God and that we all, as humans, require a change in our human composition. Jesus Christ makes the bridging of the gap from human to spirit possible at His return to earth.

Your parents created you. There are no gods. Make the most of your life. Choose your own purpose. Be happy. Make others happy.

look at the tree of knowledge as a polling booth /voting machine , in taking the apple Adam & eve voted satan as their leader
(in doing so , introducing all that is inherintly bad& evil) so god was obligated to let his system of government play out before the whole ubniverse , our purpose is to glorify god before the universe & release him of any charges of unfairness

First of all, remember that the Lord has said:

John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

As for purpose, I believe it is our purpose to be conformed to the image of Christ in Character and Power. The ultimate end being to hear Him say to us: "Well Done".
