just some immature girl who hasn't grown. Could you help me succeed? I need some of your help. When I look at family memebers who have grown and are succeessful and brag about there status in front of me to other family members it makes me feel like a complete fool. I havn't even got my Diploma or GED. I know that I am not that smart to pass any of this. Really, I am not that smart. After my dad died almost 2 weeks ago, I want him to look down on me and smile because I have succeed at something in my life. I feel like a complete faliure.

Only time will allow you to grow.Never loose your child in you.Im 39 and I come to relize that there is always gonna be someone out there who has made more success then me and they bragged about there status too.
Keep in mind that there is always someone better no matter who thinks there the best.Always keep growing and never stop.
learn learn learn.I mean learn everything. The true Key to success is proper cummunication skills in life to and for others.Thats just rude of them to be that way.Even if you don't go to collage learn how to be street smarts.Collage don't teach you that.I mean street smarts in the verbal sence.Learn what to say and what not to say.Falling on your face all the time is the only true way to learn how to grow and do things better the next time.

oh, i'm in pretty much the same boat as you... i only have a high school diploma and am working as a sales assistant and i don't feel like i succeed at anything... i don't feel i've grown up yet, too, and i'm 21 already... going to be 22 soon... yes i have a bf and going to marry him too and i want to be a housewife, but i want to be of something more useful... i was thinking maybe i do volunteer work next time :) the thing is i don't know whether i will ever accept the fact about giving birth to children... i don't seem to ever want kids--not ready or selfish? a lot of thoughts going around in my head... i'm down and negative more often than positive--we just gotta tread water and survive... you can do it--make friends (i have few friends too, but feeling happy enough right now) :D

You don't have to grow up to be smart.

But don't worry about failing, focus your attention instead on succeeding. Study and pay attention in class, do your homework, and use motivation [like wanting to please you dad] to help get you along.

There are a lot of succesful adults who are still children at heart. So don't worry about growing up, worry about being you and doing the the best the YOU can do. And don't be afraid to try new things. You may not be the smartest woman in the world, but you could be an amazing artist, or actor, or youth pastor, or .. well you get my point.

But, NEVER give up hope on yourself!
You still have the rest of your life to improve and become the person you want to be. Just take it a day at a time.
Good luck!

Don't give up and seriously keep on trying to get that GED. I bet once you get it (you will if you just keep trying) you'll feel 11000000% better.
