I have a stimatism ( ? ). Anyway both doctors told me i would need to wear them for atleast an hour before coming in so they could figure the problem.......how am i suposed 2 do that when they feel the way they do? And no i didnt have them inside-out. What should I do about this problem....cant aford lasik.

DARK STAR.....yes i am positive i had them in the correct eye bcuz i could see (when the damn thing would stay where it was supposed to be) out of my left eye even tho it hurt/burned but never my right eye. Neither contact would stay where it was supposed to be for more than a few mins and they always hurt/burned

This could be a stupid question but are you sure that they are in the right eye? If they are slipping then they might not be the right size for your eyes. I had a problem with burning when I first got contacts and it ended up being the solution I was using. Maybe you should try a different solution to see if the one you have is causing irritation.
I have a stigmatism in both eyes and have never had trouble with contacts. Sometimes it takes a little while for the contact to settle on your eye the right way and it can be a little uncomfortable while it does. Those are all of my ideas.
Good luck, I hope that you figure things out!

i would just put them on in the parking lot and lie and tell them they've been in for an hour. by the time you check in and wait for them to call you I'm sure you'll be there for at least 20 minutes. chances are, they wont even notice that they haven't been in for the full hour. i dont see why this would be important anyway... as long as they're in they should be able to look at them with their equipment and see what the problem is. just try not to blink too much. maybe while you're in the waiting room you can keep your eyes closed as much as you can... and when they're open squint a little so they can't pop off.

Why not go to the office an hour before an appointment and put them in when you get to the eye docs office and then wait out the hour by reading a magazine?

I had a problem such as this with mine also. I ended up using focus night and day lenses. They are so comfortable I can wear them a week at a time without dryness and without the feeling of them falling out.

i've got been donning contacts for roughly 15 years and prefer them lots extra advantageous than glasses. they don't harm, yet your eyes will in all probability be dry on the start till you get used to them. additionally, i've got chanced on that it facilitates me lots to drop purely slightly touch answer in them earlier I positioned them in my eyes, so I positioned them in moist somewhat of dry. additionally, the attention wellbeing practitioner might desire to assist you to attempt a pair earlier you actual purchase some. on the start, purely attempt donning them for some hours. notwithstanding in case you get contacts that are marketed as 24 hour lenses, i might propose not drowsing in them. that's sturdy to enable your eyes have a wreck and get extra oxygen. additionally, be very mushy once you cope with them to keep away from ripping them. That hurts. average in spite of the undeniable fact that, i admire my lots and infrequently ever positioned on glasses. sturdy success!
