Who here thinks metal shoul be played on the radio more?

I am a metalhead and am sick of emo and rap ruling the airwaves.i dont usally bash othere peoples music but enough is enough.We have an entire generation of kids who listen to Bs music.worst of all you cant turn on the radio with out hearing it.we need to make an all metal station before its to late

i forgot to put that i am still young and the only one who listens to metal at my school

I totally agree with you. the problem is not so much the style that is being played but the fact that there is no room for novelty. It's always the same old crap! So many good bands out there, and yet all we keep hearing on the radio is mainstream. Why isn't there a commercial radio who's willing to take a risk?

As a Metalhead i consider that Metal should always be played. If you want to hear metal on the radio you will have to look at satellite radio such as Xm. There's a channel called XMLM ( xm liquid metal) and the only thing playing on it is real metal ( you won't hear any screamo, emo nu-metal kind of crap.)

That would be a great idea only there aren't any metal fans in singapore (except me) and all we hear are the top 50 and those lousy rap/pop songs that all sound the name now. What happened to the music instruments that I love?

It's not so much the style, rather the novelty of sound that's missing from the radio.
I'm a punk fan, though not adverse to metal, who'd really appreciate a little diversity on the airwaves.

i definatelt agree. i hate all the new stuff and the crappy rock bands and over balanced music and rap and hip hop should all go
