For any living human, the end of the world is as near as our death. It may be around 80 plus minus few years. After death there will not be a dimension called Time till the occurance of Judgement Day. End of the world can occur any time, We cant say. IF you see the psunami scenes or now that Nuclear weapons are getting spread across the globe, end of the world is not predictable. Till now time is not defined scientifically. We can measure time and know that time will always go forward. There are few theories that time is going forward like how our universe is expanding. Time is a dimension for all measurements. Scientists say when everything move with the speed of light, then time dimension will not be there. Bcos till now we know only light as the fastest moving thing in the universe. As per Newton's Law every action will have its reaction. So time also will reverse at some moment, that is the whole universe will start contracting to become a single entity. That is what muslims, christians & jews call it as Judgement day. We will see all our actions that time as time is running in reverse direction. Finally, we will reach an eternal stage.

Widely accepted scientific evidence indicates that the Earth was formed around 4.57 billion years ago[1] and its natural satellite, the Moon, was orbiting it shortly thereafter, around 4.53 billion years ago.

I'm not sure what you mean by "limit". There's just one.
