I think there are many, many people like MLK. They work for humanitarian agencies, they work with veterans and the homeless. They volunteer to help the elderly, the sick and the shut-ins. They give up their seat on the bus.
They yield in traffic. Simple acts of kindness go a long, long way toward achieving MLK's dream.

because greed controls the world. Martin fought for justice, equality and civil rights. he had a dream that all colors could be together without hate. that a person should not be judge by his skin color but by the content of there character. the government does not want that and they still don't want that. its the people in power that killed mlk and still killing him today. just look at the war that's going on.

There are people like MLK Jr., but they are less noticeable, because the people for whom they are seeking the recognition of their basic human rights cannot speak, or march, or boycott.

there are. There are many more people who have died since man evolved than there people living on earth today. ..or..
Because churches and racist parents do not instill the virtues necessary to be such a great person. And, brilliant people, natural leaders. etc., don't come along very often.

Because few people are willing to sacrifice for a good cause. MLK, like his savior Jesus, was willing to give his life to attain his goal. People aren't like that anymore....

Because they don't want to sacrifice their lives for a just cause, they are more worried about the mortgage and if they will win the super bowl.
