If the blind person has never been able to see they dream about sounds and textures. But if they have been able to see before, they may dream about things they have seen plus sounds and textures.

Yes, blind people do dream. What they see in their dreams depends on how much they could ever see. If someone has been totally blind since birth, they only have auditory dreams. If someone has had a measure of sight, then that person dreams with that measure of sight.

in all seriousness my uncle is blind. He tells me that his dreams include the most vivid colors hes ever imagined. "Big Putt" as I call him is a great man so I have no reason to believe that he would lie to me. One dream that he tells me most about is him playing in a field of snow and grass chasing "a rainbow of wings on somesort of insect" (butterflies) and "long tailed insects that fly much faster and hover effortlessly over the hills" (dragonflies). Hes been blind since he was a child so of these things ive actually had to describe what they are. Mostt of these dreams (if not all) are always emotional to him to the point of tears.

People dream in the same way that they experiance their surroundings, so, the dreams of a disabled person would be the same as our dreams, sans the sense or senses they are lacking, depending on how long they have been disabled...
