Get your facts straight. Oprah is not athiest, but agnostic. And why does Los Alamos, New Mexico (and every other city where the US National Laboratories are located) have more churches per capita than other cities in the US? That would mean that you are very incorrect. And Albert Einstein was also agnostic.
Next time, open a dictionary and then read a book or two before showing the world just what an idiot you really are.

Sorry, but been intelligent or not, cruel or not has nothing to do with Christians or any other religion. Take this for example, the most better people who were thinking in the human race had been kiiled, people like Jesus, Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi, John F. Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln, etc. If all the material things in this world belongs to the evil, Jesus was tentaited by the offer of possesing all the kingdoms in earth by the devil and said "All this is mine and I give to whoever I want" Isn't a big coincidence that atheist are the best rewarded in this material world? How do you think they have become rich and the satnd of living they're having right now? By the explotation of many people who work for them, who have to work a lot of hours dayly for a pitty pay check. By the patronicing of fanatics like you, in the ones they don't care a little bit, but want your money and the best for them is that those fanatics are so blind that they give it away don't caring that the light bill is about overdue. Why the people who really believe in God don't need millions of dollars to have a quiet and peaceful live? Their souls are in tranquility with the rest of the world and they don't have sleepless for all the properties and economical matters that all the ones you mention have. So as you can see my friend in here I'm leaving you a few points in what you may think of, that's if you have an objective mind to do so and fanaticism hasn't wrapped up your brain. You may be right, may be there's no God, but, Do you think I would take the chance when is easier to deal with Him than with many people from down here? Perhaps the abscentism of proves about God existance is the better proof of his existance. So if I have have to choose, I choose God and Heaven. Thanks because people like you reminds me why I believe for.

who was your source on this. LOL Those particular celebrities are not all atheists and if you got that from your US or Star magazine, well you better realize that reading those magazines...should be the same to you as reading the Bible. So you're an atheist, yet you believe everything you read. That's like an oxymoron. I'm a Christian but I'm not an advocate for stupid christians (Bush etc.,) or people like Hitler claiming to be a Christian but acting like the devil. You can't generalize the entire Christian population based on a few idiots. Well you can because you just did...but it's not becoming. Good luck with your education. ;)

why do you care though? religious affiliation should have nothing to do with how smart someone is? im not a bible hugger but i am a christian, if someone believes that Heaven and Hell exist why would you insult them for that, we are taught not to judge you for who you are, so even though your not a christian, you should show that common courtesy. and what about other great people that are christians like William Webster(FBI and CIA director), Alan Shephard(first american in space). and rethink your albert einstein he was NOT specifically and atheist, Few people today realize how much Albert Einstein studied Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, supported its conclusions, and admired its author, Mary Baker Eddy. Dr. Einstein was known to visit Christian Science churches and Reading Rooms in the New York and New Jersey areas. There have been numerous anecdotes and quotes preserved over the years from individuals who have had knowledge of, or contact with Dr. Einstein, in connection with Christian Science.

Your reasoning is flawed, as it is an appeal based purely on image and celebrity. For someone who values the opinions of the famous (assuming you are correct of course) this is a very persuasive argument, but Christians could counter it ad nauseum with a list of good celebrities that a re Christian, and bad celebrities or groups that are atheist. There is no reliable way of judging who has the "better" group of advocates, because such judgments are purely subjective. I think anyone who could be persuaded by such thin attempt at an argument would not be the type of person you would want associated with your system of belief.

Oprah is not an atheist. Hitler and the KKK are deffinately NOT Christian.
Who is to decide just who the "smartest and best people in the world" are? Do you think you qualify?

Just a thought: simply because one uses the name of God, acknowledges God in liner notes or some other fashion, or talks about God in public, that does not make one a Christian. A true Christian will show their faith in their actions and their words. Not speaking for anyone else on the list you gave, but a gangster rapper who brags about violence, women, and drugs, uses profanity at every chance they get, and then thanks God on the album cover is MOST LIKELY not a true Christian. So the next time you want to go around lumping all of those people together, how about lumping the ones together whose actions and lives actually mirror what they believe and what they read in the Bible. You might get more attention, more answers, and more insight that way.

"My position concerning God is that of an agnostic. I am convinced that a vivid consciousness of the primary importance of moral principles for the betterment and ennoblement of life does not need the idea of a law-giver, especially a law-giver who works on the basis of reward and punishment."
-Albert Einstein
