Are army Warrant Officers treated as officer or enlisted. How is their housing, and are they saluted?

They are treated as officers by the enlisted, as they do rate an initiated salutes and courtesy's just as if they were commissioned officers.

their housing is equal to the lower officer ranks. they do get paid better than the enlisted.

in my experience, they generally do get a lot of the cast off George jobs (general tasks, such as morale officer, voting officer, etc etc) in the units that were formerly given to 2 Lt's. Its the middle world of the military.

I would have loved to have been one in the Air Force, but the Air Force phased them out as un-needed, in trusting their former jobs to senior master Sgt and chief master Sergent's in the main scheme of things.

Warrant Officers are treated as officers but are below the Commissioned Officers. They are saluted by enlisted personnel but they have to salute all ranks above them. Their housing is like that of lower ranking officers. One additional thing they have to ask permission to retire because their skills in certain areas are so important the Army doesn't have to let them leave and can theoretically keep him/her in service for life.

Yes, they are officers. They get the same benefits, housing etc.
They are called "Mr" but are officers.
