with me? If going to hell means that I think that Gandhi was a much better man than George Bush I will gladly go. If knowing that sexuality is not a choice, and even if it were it is none of my business means I will go to hell, I will gladly go. If making love and not being married to him means I am going to hell, count me in. If going to heaven means that I believe that God flooded the earth and Adam and Eve were the only people on earth, than I will choose hell.

Especially since hell is an imaginary place invented by men who desired control of the masses. I am uncontrollable!

And now, by rather (un)popular demand, the Mistress of inference, the Seductress of the non sequitor - the beloved GTW.
faint applause threatens to disrupt the 'net on the Seychelles Is.
a) Gandhi was great - disengranchised a major region of India's native salt producers and walked a rather crooked mile to free India of a rotten a pple about to fall. BUT THEN AGAIN - SOMEWHERE I THOUGHT JUDGING WAS A SIN - even in TX.
b) Ooh sexuality-can we give GTW points for turn ons? NICE NO JUDGEMENT ON THIS SEGMENT.
c) Folks - we can line up to ask our fab hostess for loans. YOU, GTW, have the copyright on a BIBLE never before written or rread. Do you wish your pearls/gems thrown in anywhere in particular since you won't find this in the Bible - OR - should we start YOUR VERY OWN BOOK OF THE BIBLE - Gorgeous - YOU NAME IT YOU CLAIM IT.
d) I'm hurt. I'm wounded. I'm confounded. I'm irate as (ah!) hell. A &E Inc. and the flood are my signature points. TSK TSK TSK no honor in TXS.
e) Folks - know this, GTW is one hot mama. But she ain't near hot enough to have been TO HELL AND BACK. This is a travel guide who thinks googling somewhere proves its rates are cheap. I ask you n ow - who minded the kids, weeded the back 4024, mended the socks, and the kept the old man happy? Seems to me, women are the ones who came u p with the notion of hell.
YOU READ IT HEAR FIRST - and will every time she posts, GTW is UNCONTROLLABLE! Shockeroo. 1950's Horror Flick from Little Tokoyo on the Rio Grande. Yeah, GTW, you are indeed uncontrollable, and probably a few other 'b(u)les too, but we so appreciate you.

Doing those things do not send you to hell. Although you should try not to because you love God, you may still fail and do some of the first things you listed, and still go to heaven.

Hell is a choice

Looks like you have made yours.

You forgot the part about Lazarus and the rich man, where the rich man BEGS for a drop of water to cool his tongue.

All so needless, it is much simpler to accept a sacrifice made on your behalf. You dont have to force your belief on others, or live perfect, all sin and fall short. You dont have to control the world, "the meek shall inherit the earth." Why make God's words into some diatribe of domination, or try to say that Hell is unfair. Choosing hell is unfair to yourself.
Just food for thought, no offense intended, just hope this helps.

You really ARE amazingly LAX in your Biblical knowledge of HELL, because if you are THAT self deluded that you can come here day after day and hear the truth of the Word of God told to you by people who CARE about you; That's right CARE; and STILL say you would rather go to hell, well then maybe it IS too late for you. Maybe there really is NO HOPE for you. Perhaps God has drawn you to Him for the very last time, and you've rejected Him once too often, I don't know, but I'm scared for you right now; I truly am.

I pray God will give you another Chance to know the truth!

It's all about you, isn't it? Well, guess what--it isn't. It's about your relationship with God, your Creator.

Everyone sins, so none of those things you mentioned necessarily means you're hellbound. It's by failing to repent, failing to accept the complete forgiveness that Jesus freely offers, that some people doom themselves.

No thanks. Hell is the utmost control and sorrow but if this is what you want-God will let you choose as you want to. At least you will have some good friends with you.

I'll be there.

Let's see, Blasphemey of the entire Trinity. All seven of the deadlies. Oh, and the want to be God.

Well, when the bus gets here, call my cell. I'll be asleep.

I'll bring the marshmallows if you'll bring the graham crackers...

As my husband puts it, "I'd rather spend an eternity in hell than worship a being that would create such a place."

Hell's afraid we'll take over :-)

I will admit that the first level where, according to Dante, the righteous pagans reside sounds pretty attractive to me.
