Well, you know Shaquille O'neal is like 7'1 (2.16 m) and 350 pounds (160kg). And on top of that, he's mobile and well conditioned. However, Fedor is not only extremely strong but also technical. What do you guys think of this mathcup?

100% YES.

I've seen a 5'10" MMA fighter take out a conditioned 300 lb, 6.6" non-fighter.

First of all, Shaq has zero professional fighting experience. His punches would be ineffective and I doubt he would even know how to utlize his legs for kicks. Secondly, his reflexes are much more conditioned for his sport, not for dodging or pinpointing opportune moments to attack. Thirdly, even if he did know when to attack or defend, he wouldn't have the fast twitch speed to do so effectively. Fouthly, he needs a ground game. I doubt he is capable of defending or initiating submissions so he would need takedown defense. He would need experience is Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, and judo to be up to par. Fifthly, we do not know how well he could take a punch. Size doesn't entirely determine how strong his chin is. Sixthly, mental discipline and control during a fight. Even with the said tools above, Shaq would need the will and confidence to fight professionally. But I will allow that as a given being that he's proven to be disciplined enough to win basketball championships.

Shaq would lose in the first round. I would bet my life's savings on it.

truly? Fedor might take Shaq down like he did to Zuluzinho. And if Fedor did not knock him subconscious her might rip his arm off in a Kimura. Fedor is the baddest guy on the earth and can end the combat speedier than he did to Tim Sylvia which replace into 36 seconds, winning by a rear choke. Fedor might demolish Shaq no questions asked. Fedor is pound for pound the terrific fighter interior the international.

There is no way Shaq could ever match Fedor as far as fighting goes. You're placing a basketball player against a fighter. I'm sure Shaq could take Fedor to school on a basketball court as long as no punches are thrown.

The only reason it will last longer than it should is Shaq is used to running and will as soon as the fight started.
When Fedor catches he will no longer play basketball for a living!

If you have watched MMA religiously over the last few years then you would know that Bob Sapp is bigger and stronger than Shaq, and probably everyone else in the sport. Yet he can't proficiently defend himself against the top of the line fighters. Being so big he runs out of gas easily and can't defend himself and gets punched out or submitted. It doesn't matter how big you are in MMA.

Fedor is arguably the best mma fighter in the world. Shaq has absolutely no professional fighting experience.

It's sad that you even had to ask this question.

Have you ever heard of Akebono!? Being a big man didn't help him out very much in MMA. Having his multi-million dollar knees kicked is about the last think Shaq would ever want to do.

Fedor would easily win. Shaq would need Kobe and Wade to help him win anything.
