What's that test, again????
Is it this one????
Discerning False Prophets
Matthew 7:15-20
Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits. -(Matthew 7:15-20)
I'm sorry, but I don't see any "Test" here!?!?
Was Mohammad a "False Prophet"????
That's a matter of opinion!?!?
Are you saying that Mohammad being descended from the line of Ishmael, son of Hagar, is the"Fruit of a bad tree", because he was a ******* born of a slave????
Again, that's a matter of opinion!?!?
But then, Mohammad didn't come as a wolf in sheeps clothing!?!? He clearly came as a Fighting , roaring Desrt Lion!?!? No bleating sheep, here!?!? So, now, does he disqualify from the description, because he didn't fit the required criteria????
It's all a matter of opinion!?!?

Whether Mohammad was a prophet or not, from what we know about him, he was a good man, concerned with the well being of the poorest among the community, especially widows and orphans. He was a warlord, as a leader in that area and time had to be, so I think there may be cultural biases that make him seem less peaceful than he probably was/intended to be. All in all, he said some pretty outrageous things, pissed some wealthy people off, and tried to start a more just society...sounds like a prophet to me, at least in a secular sense of the word. Whether he was actually sent by God or not is a slightly different question. (I'm Christian, by the way.)

If you look at the life of Muhammad (pbuh), the Seal of the Prophets in Islam, you'll see that he has fulfilled the "requirments" set forth in the bible. Forgiveness for the people that discriminated against him for believing in the oneness of God when most others during his time were polytheistic, peace for following ANTI conflict strategies when dealing with the persecution, turning his cheek by fleaing from Mecca to Medina when he would have been killed for his beliefs, acts of gentless and kindness for his stances on women and people of other beliefs as spoken by him in the Hadiths (the spoken words of the Prophet) and also in the Qur'an (Islam's holy book said to be the words of God as spoken through the Prophet Muhammad {pbuh}).
Even as a Christian, I cannot fully understand nor deny how an illiterate man could have possibly articulated such beautiful words that are in the Qur'an that's stories are so similar to those in the Bible.
If you're ever confused by what Islam really teaches, please don't look at the Media so filled with the beliefs of extremist sects who claim to (but don't) follow the religion, ask an Islamic Scholar, such as a professor from a University.
Good luck!

No, Allah of the Koran and God of the Bible at the instant are not a similar. One question. Why could God come into the international as a guy and let us know to look for the dominion of God and then six hundred years later let us know an entire new gospel? have you ever study the Koran? that's like an angel is speaking and not God or Muhammad. And a fallen angel talked approximately as Lucifer at that. He speaks of commencing the chest to get some thing achieved. Lucifer the sunshine bearer had stones upon his chest. So for sure angels have comparable stones to the intense Priest interior the temple of Herod. Christianity and Judaism shop on with a similar God, however the quite a few Jews do not understand Jesus simply by fact the Lord walking the earth in flesh. Paul reported they have been partly blinded until the Gentiles are available. i've got faith we are seeing a great many Muslims turning from Islam to Christianity. that's the Lord Jesus who adjustments the hearts and minds. Christ is making Himself primary to the Muslims. while Christ starts off making Himself primary to the Jews they are going to be weeping simply by fact they'll weep for Christ like they could weep for an purely baby. Jesus reported that He does not return until they reported, "Blessed is he who's accessible interior the call of the Lord."

well, the biuddha actually came about 500 years BEFORE jesus, and mathew was written during/after jesus, so it couldn't have been referring to the Buddha.
Mohammad just doesn't match the whole ideal of christianity.. having faith and accepting jesus christ. that's the whole message of the Bible, is love and faith. islam totally goes against that.
muslims say that the bible has been changed, but all in all only 11 verses have, and VERY minorly (like for example the original might have said him and the one said them) and even then they have been corrected in mordern bibles.
mohommad fails to be a prophet in many ways. if any prophet were to come after chrsit, they would spread and go on with his message. and even then, jesus is the last prophet.. the messiah. there are not others to come after him. jesus will come again, but there will be no other new prophets.

I believe that even Jesus failed the test. He was supposed to be from the house of david and this would have been so through Joseph. Unfortunately, according to the bible, Jesus was not the son of Joseph but the son of god. Therefore he was not from the house of David and could not be the messiah.
As a result any test set by him is invalid

The passage at issue has to do with faith. Faith, being the deliberate renunciation of the use of logic, is the ultimate evil: the only distinguishing characteristic of the human race is the ability to use logic, and if you abjure that, you are no better than an animal. Muhammad was a false prophet because some of his prescriptions, as laid down in the Qur'an, are erroneous.

I would say Mohammed failed the test because he failed to foresee the end results of his actions. He did not expect that anyone could twist his words to fanatical ends, something Christ did foresee of his own word, and any true prophet should. A true prophet would not sow the seeds of his followers self destruction. In that sense, Mohammed failed as a prophet.

Didn't Prophet Musa pbuh (Moses) also engage in warfare? of course Muhammad pbuh taught forgiveness gentleness and kindness. but i agree that he did not always say to turn ones cheek if people were killing and attack you. and lets be rational can you honestly say you wouldn't defend your family/friends or yourself even if someone was attacking you? The Quran only tells you to kill in self defense never to start aggression.

its Muslims..... and Mohammad (PBUH) did pass the test. He was kind to every one, and very forgiving, he was peaceful, and very nice. you should read the quran (suggestion) and better yet Read this book about haddis. Its like a gospels ( i don't know how to say it) the things like by peter, or Matthew and all. we have the almost same thing for Mohammad PBUH. Its like a book of events in his life. and you will see how kind, forgiving and gentle he was. I mean really!
