Good question. My husband's uncle was a Lt. Col. and he flew everywhere for free. Never had to make a reservation or anything, just show up at the airport and away he'd go!! He lived very well, owned ocean front property in Fl and had a house full of antiques. Left several mil when he passed. I can't wait to see what other answers you receive. Sorry I don't have an exact amount, but I wasn't privvy to that info.

O-5; same as in the Army, and the same as a Commander in the Navy.

Pay Grade? What do you mean? They are beyond the whole E levels. They make 6 digits.
