The sick person should wear a TB approved mask until he is declared non-contagious. Also keeping him away from others until then.

T.B spreads through droplet infection mostly. The patient should be kept in a spacious well ventilated room with windows directly to outside the house. Patients should cough and sneeze into a mask which should be destroyed by burning. If three successive sputum tests done at three days interval each, are negative the patient is not contageous.

when coming contract affected with this family member, wear face mask, disposal plates,cups..ect. should be use by this person and get tested for the other family members.
