My friend told the guy i like, i liked him. He said k and that's all. Do u think if it was me he would've said more than "K"???

ok....good idea testing the waters and asking your friend
there are 2 sides to this the good and the bad:
bad: maybe he doesnt care
good: now you can try the direct approach and ask him seriously right there in person
i had this situation too a while ago and not knowing can cause heartache because of the uncertainty
so ask soon
if you ask in person there are also two sides
if he cares, he'll expain if he likes you or break it to you easily
if he doesnt...well lets just say that you should get about a gallon of ice cream and a good movie with good friends cuz trust me, rejection hurtz

well u have to ask ur friend "how" he said -k- and if he really did say it normally infront of u he would hav laughed oh and ask if he was infront of friends

Probably not, seems he was "tongue tied." If he's interested he will pursue you, particularly now that he knows you like him.
