Ispent some time 2 years ago in Long Island and I LOVE the deli's. We dont have deli's like that in California. Can you recommend good/traditional dellis in Manhattan, will be there next weekend.

The Stage deli, Carnegie deli and my fave Katz's are some of the best. ANY deli in NY is good. Not healthy, but good.

And if you are in Los Angeles, go to Cantors on Fairfax. Almost as good.

The obvious ones are the Stage and Carnegie, but you might want to try Sarge's on Third Ave in the 30's and Katz's on Houston

all the corner stores in new york have the best hero sandwiches and beef patties there is you should stop at one and try it make sure it an deli

DinoDino nailed it right..I can taste the Pastrami now with half sours, chopped liver, and Dr Browns Celery soda gotta go to Travelocity now and buy a ticket.....
