why are you in love with your bf/significant other? How do they make you feel? does the one your with listen to you and you feel a connection when engaging in conversation?
I met this guy who is nice and seems interested in me in that he compliments me, BUT he doesn't really seem engaged in me and when we talk there's this lack of chemistry/interest. I'm just wondering whether it's a sign things won't work out- would appreciate honest feedback thanks!

if he doesnt seem engaged when you talk, it will be harder to make it work.. not that i want to tell you it wont..
my guy listens to me and always wants to hear what i have to say, he also shares details with me, whether i ask them or not. hes there when i need him and im there for him..
i've been in other relationships where the guy just didnt seem to care or had better things do worry about and it just did not work out. anyway, i hope this helped a little bit, my best advice is not to hang onto it if it really feels like there's a lack in anything.. also, confront him about it.. it's best to be honest

I am in a great relationship with my boyfriend. We have currently been dating for 5 months. 6 on Valentines day. He makes me feel like the most important girl on the face of this earth. He listens to me, offers me help when i need it, keeps his mouth shut when i dont ;], and gives me anything that i could possibly need.
Now, you met a great guy. Maybe he's shy and doesnt know how to react to someone new that he just met. I would personally give it some more time and see how things go. If he starts acting a little more interested, keep on going with the talking. If he still stays shy, maybe you should just stay friends.

ive been with my bf for over a year now and just recently i thought of 'maybe hes not the one for me' because like you, sometimes he just doesnt seem interested on what im saying. i asked him about it and he said 'thats not it, most of the guys are just like that' (probably another way of telling me that i just talk TOO much? =P)
it could be a problem, but it will really depend on your personality. for me whats most important is the security that he wont cheat on me, so it makes up for the lack of chatter. also, it is important to know - do you feel bored when youre together and dont talk much? sometimes theres no need to talk. for me im still happy even if were not doing anything. time will tell if youre meant for each other or not.. but if its too easy then its not worth it, right? i hope you work it out =)

My husband and I work exceedingly well together. We are a fluid (no pun intended) team. Unfortunately we both are headstrong and stubborn, so we have to work at it. But a relationship is compromise, love and understanding. We both may not always LIKE each other, but we always LOVE each other. We have good chemistry, but we really have companionship.
Chemistry is everything though. Even if the guy is voted sexiest man of the year...if there's no chemistry, then...well, keep him as a friend, see if things develop, etc. Have fun with him, get to know each other. He could be your best guy friend down the road!

Opposites attract haven't you heard ?! My spouse watches alot of t.v . like sports and stuff that i don't watch and sometimes he isn't listening to me!! Other times he is! Our interest are sometimes different but we still get alone well about other things and we have some common things sometimes. It doesn't mean he isn't into me , everyone has there own space. and i like mine! Only time will tell if you two click or not! You have to get to know a person for awhile, you cold be just taking him the wrong way !!

My guy often seems distracted, too. Men think one move ahead sometimes,like in a chess game or something... I don't worry about it. I know how to get his undivided attention when I need it:)

you have to feel something when your around them... even if it isn't that big ... .but when your talking if you don't feel that he's interested it might not work out in the long run... i'm sorry
