the kabbalah is taught to those who want to learn about hebrew mysteries, much as other religous groups teach mysteries about any religion.

I am studying Hermetic Qabalah [Not the Madonna crap, or the Jewish version [I'm not Jewish.]]

It's really placed the spiritual into a practical place, and has been a great bridge for connecting ideas as well. I didn't know it, but my philosophy on Divine Consciousness has meshed very well with it.

I'm by no means any more than a beginner, but it has been a useful school of thought for studying mysticism.

A few Mystics and Hassidic Jewish people.
Two Freemason degrees also make a big deal out of the ancient scriptures.

NOPE--kind of FAR OUT stuff with mult meanings.
