I doubt I can do anything about this but...
Well, obviously, I like this one girl. Except, shes a junior and I'm a freshmen. I was talking to her, and she says that she would go for me, except I'm too young. Is there anyway I could try changing her mind, or anything at all?
Rofl, time machines would be nice, eh?

If it helps, I once liked a guy who was two years younger. It does get awkward given the social standards but I would have totally dated him if he asked. He never did b/c he thought I wasn't into him b/c of the age thing.
Don't make the same mistake he did. Just spend more time with her and make her realize that age is only a number (esp. if you're only 2 yrs apart...come on!) and show her your mature. Good luck!

You should tell her that age should not be an issue. What should matter is what you two have in common and how attracted you are towards each other. She should try to give you a chance because she might like you and then she might actually start a trend. You should also tell her that men have been seeing younger women for years and now it's really not that unusual for women to do this. The most important thing is how well your hearts connect. Keep trying. Don't give up on her. She might come around and give you a chance, if you are persistant.

In most cases a woman a couple years or older usually will have a different agenda than that of a younger man like yourself! Wouldn't you like to be with a girl your own age that will be all the things you want, with the same agenda,so the two of you could just have fun being freshman? Than be messing with a older woman with only one agenda, to be what she wants you to be with resurrections because of the age difference? Think about this, its harder doing things with a woman that is a couple years older because when she turns 21 and she wants to do things like go drinking but your still under 21! Do you think she is going to wait? Or change these plans just so, she can hang out with you? Consider these questions to test the right woman more your age.Ask yourself:
1. Does she love you for who you are (inside first than out)? The Bible says: *“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-6
2. Does she honor you? Will she do things just to make you happy? Will she try some of the things you are interested in or maybe shares some of the same interests and hobbies? The Bible says:
* “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Romans 12:10
3. Cherishes your body, mind and soul? Doesn't go to far on these things until your ready? The Bible says: * “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet Spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” 1 Peter 3:3-4
4. You trust her to the fullest? She is your best friend and you are hers? The Bible Says: * “ Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes always perseveres.” 1 Corinthians 13:7
5. You communicate well? She understands you like he could be your twin? The Bible says: * “ Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful, that it may benefit those who listen.” Ephesians 4:29

To Sum it up: Stick to 1. Love 2. Honor 3. Cherish 4. Trust 5. Communication and I promise if your relationship is based on these things you will know what its like to find true love! And Yes! I have used my principles myself and I am convinced I have found my soul mate! But to find her I also used these same principles to weed out my soul mate from the relationships that just didn't work. In addition, letting God and Jesus Christ lead your heart, mind, body and soul also aid in the weeding process. But, you know that also by waiting there might be a chance longer down the road when you have discovered a little more about your life than just high school! Because you never know what you might want to be after school? College? Army? You see if she is the one than know that your lives will cross paths somewhere down the road. Because you see the angel I married was a junior when I was a freshman too! May that being a little hope for you but my advice is not to pursue it now! God Bless!

I want to say their's a way but it just seems so hard. The idea of going out with a freshman (and I'm just a sophomore) seems weird. You could try and just be yourself. If it was meant to be then it'll work but if you're meant to meat a girl in your grade you will. Don't pressure her or you'll seem desperate but don't play hard to get she'll think you're not interested.

You could say "age is just a number"...ask her out and show her you're not "immature-young"..but some people are bothered by what other ppl have to say....so it may not be "her" ..but what her friends may say that she's with someone "younger"?? No harm in asking her out again tho to something like a concert? or a party/club ? not like a "movie kind of date" . Good Luck*

some ways to change her mind is to show her your banging personality. girls love a guy who has a really nice personality. if she really likes you the way you say she does, then years sholdn't make a difference to her. What, is she looking for someone around her age ? well if she got a great guy that's only a few years younger than she is she should go for it and stop wasting your time.

Try telling her that to you 'it doesn't matter what age, love is still the same.' or something like that. You never know, just try it. Doesn't work? Hang out with her, be friends. It can grow.

she's saying she's into you but she is worried about what her friends would think and wants you to act mature for your age. for example you could ask her out to a well planned, interesting date-but the catch is you would need transportation, and the bus doesn't count. go somewhere late at night where there is a view and listen to late night radio. this way she doesn't have to worry about her friends and you have romance and privacy, free.

hey dude the worst thing you want to do is change your age just to be with a girl. if shes insecure about the age thing, screw her, you can find another easy. but most likely, she will come around even if you dont say anything.
