Abraham, as the founding father of all Hebrew tribes is a folk ancestor of Jesus.

Muhammad was an Arab, Arabs are semites and cousins to the Jews, so there's probably some common ancestry, far far in the past when all semites were one tribe.

in the same fashion as we all are. Every living person on this earth is a son or daughter of god. They all had a personally close relationship to our heavenly father, Jesus, obviously, was much closer for more reasons than anyone can ever express. The other two were prophets and, although I myself do not view Muhammad as a prophet of god, I do believe that he was exceptionally close to our heavenly father. Abraham was basically the father of all Semitic religions. hope it helps.

They are all Semites -- descendants of Noah's son, Shem (drop the "h" and add ite to his name) after the flood although the term anti-Semite generally refers to Jews, Muslims are also Semites.

Abraham's first son, Ishmael (through Sara's maid, Haggar) is reportedly the father of the Islamic peoples while Abraham's son, Isaac (through Sara herself) is an ancestor to Jesus.

Well, Abraham is supposedly (based on scripture) the guy that all the Jews and Muslims descended from. The Jews descended from the offspring of his wife and the Muslims descended from the offspring of his concubine (who was banished). JC is less clear in the bible and Qur’an. Probably Hebrew and Muhammad Arabic of some kind?

No, Carter. Muhammad is suppose to be the descendent of Abraham as well.

Abraham had two sons...one son by Hagar his wife's handmaid, Ischmael...the other was Isaac from Sarah. The Israelites descend from Isaac through Jacob (who was named Israel and had 12 sons who became the 12 Tribes of Israel.) Islam insists they are descendants of Ischmael...I believe they were called "Edomites" in the Old Testament.

Prophet Muhammad (s) was born in 570 CE in Makkah (Bakka, Baca, Mecca). His father, Abdullah, died several weeks before his birth in Yathrib (Medinah) where he went to visit his father's maternal relatives. His mother died while on the return journey from Medinah at a place called ‘Abwa’ when he was six years old. He was raised by his paternal grandfather 'Abd al Muttalib (Shaybah) until the age of eight, and after his grandfather’s death by Abu Talib, his paternal uncle. 'Abd al Muttalib's mother, Salma, was a native of Medinah and he was born and raised as a young boy in Medinah before his uncle Muttalib brought him to Makkah to succeed him. Many years before Muhammad's birth, 'Abd al Muttalib had established himself as an influential leader of the Arab tribe ‘Quraish’ in Makkah and took care of the Holy sanctuary ‘Ka’bah’. Makkah was a city state well connected to the caravan routes to Syria and Egypt in the north and northwest and Yemen in the south. Muhammad(pbuh) was a descendant of Prophet Ismail(RA) through the lineage of his second son Kedar.

Jesus had no further family except his mother.....

But All these three are linked in spiritual way .. All three of them share the same faith.. that there is only one God who has no partner. Nothing is like Him. He is the Creator, not the created, nor a part of His creation. He is All-Powerful, absolutely Just, All-Knowing, All-Merciful, the Supreme, the Sovereign. There is no entity worthy of worship besides Him.

Again we wander off into frivolous matters. It doesn't matter their complexion, race, hair color, number of offsprings- they all shared the same beliefs- There is no god But Allah. Jesus attested to this himself. Which is more important- the color of the liquid or the contents of the liquid?
