Do you get student visa same day as interview?

Does anyone know if you get your student visa approved the same day as your embassy interview (especially in New Delhi)?

It depends on the workload of the embassy. Very few can hand back the visas the same day as the interview.

You will learn at the interview if the visa will be approved or not. If you apply in Delhi, you will get back your passport and visa two days later.
