Can I get in trouble if I capture them and hold them till immigration comes

Why bother? Immigration will give them free food and housing paid for by our taxes and then turn them free at the border to run back over.

You can TRY
And when you hit the first Mexican, his twenty friends will start hitting you.
And then the manager of the Home Depot will call the cops.
The Mexicans will run away, since they're uninjured.
You won't be able to, because you've been badly beaten with carpentry tools and landscaping equipment.
Then you'll go to jail, and all the Mexican guys in the bullpen will have "fun" with you until your mom comes to make bail (do you know what the word "esposa" means in Spanish? You'll find out, the hard way, what it's like to be a Mexican man's "wife"! Or actually 20 Mexican men's "wife"!)
OR
You can do something CONSTRUCTIVE.
Do what the Mexicans do - get a set of tools and hire yourself out to do home repair work at a reasonable rate. You'll be providing a good service, and you'll have the opportunity to start your own business.
In other words, don't hate on the Mexicans - just go out there and compete with them!

There is really nothing that can be done....immigration will do nothing to illegals unless it is a group of....i think it is 30 people or more...and the illegals know this...check out there groups when you see them hanging out at the home depot....count how many people are standing around down there they will never be in any group larger than 29....so immigration will not do anything about it.....our immigration laws suck!!!

Most likely. Are you serious? This country seldomly deports people anymore, otherwise immigration wouldnt be an issue. You're going to waste your time, the immigrants time, and the law enforcements time, all for nothing. Did you know that immigrants can fly on airplanes with a fake id, without being caught? After 9-11 this happens everday and no one does anything about it, so you think they're going to take you citizens arrest serious?? Come on buddy, be realistic

Citizen's arrests are only for situations where you see a crime being committed. Absent any knowledge of someone's immigration status, you would have no rights in that regard.

Why dont you Citizens Arrest some real criminals that are actually commiting a crime. Go to where they sell guns and bust them. Or go to where they sell votes and bust them. Go to that place they dont feed homeless people and bust them for Crimes against Humanity. Go to the Hospital that turns the Veterans widow away because she has no Insurance and bust them for Failure to Respond. Then get a life and leave the working people alone.

IN most states, you can't make a citizen's arrest unless you WITNESS the arrested person committing a felony, so no.

Yes. It's called kidnapping, and it's a felony that carries a long prison sentence. Call the authorities and have them take care of it. People don't take too kindly to being held forceably against their will, and will do drastic things to keep that from happening. You could find yourself waaaay over your head if you do something like that.
