Because Americans want to stick to the Ignorance is Bliss Policy we had thru the Clinton Years. We had Bin Ladden who declared war, yes war. We had lots of video showing those scary looking people with big guns hiding their face behind tablecloths. We saw 911 coming for years. Now we see President of Iran making nukes to wipe Isreal and us off face of the earth and we are supposed to hate Bush! This started in Iran with the Hostage Crises, in 79 isnt that enuf time to figure this out. I am sick of messing around when we fight any enemy then the let the men fighting fight.

Did it ever occur to you that we're a foreign occupying army in Iraq, and are justly resented by the Iraqis.

And, to the average Iraqi, as much as they may dislike the insurgents, they are the Iraqi Patrick Henry's, standing up against the foreign invaders?

And the Iraqis who collaborate with the American puppet "government" in the Green Zone are seen as Iraqi Benedict Arnolds?

If you were Iraqi, which side would YOU be on?

Think about it!

First of all, it doesn't matter how "civilized" your methods, wars of aggression are decidely uncivilized. Kind of like how racism is racism whether you drape it in a "White Power" flag or try to conceal it.

Second, I think you need to look up the word "irony." A good example of it would be indiscriminately bombing large civilian populations in the name of protecting your own civilians from indiscriminate terrorist attacks.

using any kind of bomb is not the answer. unless you completly level the country, you will still have to fight on the ground. the white europeans have not been that effective against guerrilla warfare. that i can think of anyway. too many years of the civilized fighting.

didn't you see enough non combatants killed over there? Reverse your thinking, what if it was happening here? What would you think about the indiscriminate killing of our people? It's thinking like yours that is responsible for our loss of respect in the world.
