no. your bones do not change their size or the spaces between them. only the density might change slightly because you are not sporting around an extra forty lbs.

If you are an adult, your frame will remain the same. It may become bent and worn by carrying too much weight. Good luck with your weight loss. Keep you weight in the normal range.

This is a terrible non-answer, but I just wanted to say good question. I've wondered this too. And if not, why do so many fat people have large frames -- are they born to be heavy?

your frame does change size. You have less padding which makes you look tinier. when i was 15 i was 5ft tall and weighed140 lbs. I lost 30 lbs and wore size 4's. My whole body looked so petite that people who had known me for years, didn't know it was me. So, to answer that question again, yes it does....Your shoe size even goes down sometimes...

If you are heavy for a long time than your bones will become slightly thicker to support the weight, but I'm pretty sure the only way for bones to become thinner is osteoperosis. For you, it probably only looks that way.

just like there is no such thing as big bones, your frame stays the same. your skeleton never changes size after adolecent growth. it is because of lack of fat.

no it dosen,t i all ready asked my doctor, but your shoulder will get wider if you do power lifting, like dead lift, and swat, and bench press, that why peole say when some one is fat, it,s because the fat goes on your frame
