Anything you can do at home will be very unsafe. Pen ink is not meant to be shoved into your skin. You can buy some of the supplies on-line, but they need to be sterilized with a professional machine every time you use them. Tattoo is a difficult art, and it takes special and correct application of dye injections to get a clear image. Pen ink will spread, like when you put silly putty on the newspaper and then stretch it. And the infections are just horrible.

I have tattooed myself. First off, use real tattoo equipment. Anyone can buy it. Then do the tat on your leg. It's the only place you can stretch the skin and tattoo at the same time. Unless you have three hands. I guess you could have a friend hold the skin taught so you could do your forearm.

Here's the truth it can be done and it can look great, I've done some with what they call "pick-n-poke" and I have a home made gun and ink that will work is very easy to come by. If you would like to e-mail me at prophet_bhgf@yahoo.com, i'd be happy to give you the instructions for either way and tell u where you can get ink that will look good even after years.

Become a licensed, professional tattoo artist and then tattoo yourself. In any other case you might as well ask "How do I give myself a severe infection??"

How you ever seen the Tattooing For Dummies book at the bookstore? NO! Well there's a good reason for that. Please got to a licensed and trained professional you could cause yourself a nasty infection and definitely some embarrassment and you will most definitely regret doing that to yourself!!!

Find someone who's been in gaol (or jail for Americans) they can make tattoo needles out of just about anything. or just get a pro to do it, it is definitely worth the money compared with doing it yourself.

That's a big no-no....you're going to be using unsterilized equipment (they don't just rinse it in alcohol you know...I'm pretty sure that you don't have an autoclave at home) and you're making yourself very succeptable to infection and you're going to have a pretty sloppy tattoo.
