I have asked many spiritual people this question and i struggle to understand their answers. What does God give you that and imaginary friend does not?

I have to add that plenty of these answers do not answer my question because my little nice says her imaginary friend answers her questions/prayers and loves her. I'm going to need something more than that

I don't really think it is any of our business or we would know. I think it is far more important for us to worry about what we are going to do with our lives and not the guy in the lane next to us on the freeway or anyone else for that matter. Not even God. We are taught line upon line and precept upon precept. When we have a greater ability, I'm sure more things will be revealed to us, but now just is not yet the time. Most Christians say that Christ revealed all, but obviously we don't know everything and I believe we will have more revelation when the time becomes appropriate.

"What does God give you?" The answer is simple: EVERYTHING! :) Everything on this earth, everything you are and will become, was created by God. God is an almighty creator, which can hardly be said about an imaginary friend. God is in control. Have you ever heard the saying "Ask and you shall receive?" It's from the Bible, believe it or not! When we have a desire in our heart, God encourages us to pray. We pray to God to have an intimate relationship with him so that he hears the desires of our heart. I have never prayed for something and had it NOT happen to my benefit. God has such an amazing plan for you, for me, for everyone. Isn't that amazing? Can you ask your imaginary friend for guidance and have total faith that your imaginary friend will provide it? Not really, because your imaginary friend is not powerful enough. But God... God is the most powerful thing to ever exist. God is the way, the truth, and the life! :)

He actually changes my heart, and an imaginary friend just listens. Sometimes this friend talks back, but it's my own mind making up what he will say.

Maybe you can't understand because you've never prayed? Have you ever had an imaginary friend? This is you.

Prayer is to someone outside you. Bigger. Smarter. CreatOR not creatED. Omniscient. Never ending. Supreme. Faithful. Sufficient.

An imaginary friend could not have helped me out the other day when i wanted to kill myself. God did.

An imaginary friend could not have given courage to Christians hiding Jews during WWII, nor to people facing death on 9/11, or in Iraq today, nor to addicts like me saying no to what used to drive their life. An imaginary friend could not reconcile people who used to kill each other in Rwanda. Only God can and does.

A good friend is a very good thing. A good friend can't answer prayer. A good friend didn't create the world.
A good friend hasn't been around forever (see the Bible) A good friend can forgive the wrongs I may have done against him?her but he/she can't forgive ALL my sins (wrong doings.) A good friend can't offer me salvation and eternal life in heaven like God, via Jesus, can.God created and maintains: All of creation, all life and life forms. God is without beginning and has no ending (hard to understand-but that's the way it is.) God is power, knowledge, love, sight, hearing, knows the beginning from the end and the end from the beginning. There is nothing that "gets by" God.God is the only way to salvation.

A relationship with an actual God means possessing and continuing to develop intimate knowledge about the functioning of the actual universe and its relationship to your own spirit.

An imaginary friend is formed from what you already know. Not much learning going on there.

every one has their own personal god divided into four catagorys.

A) a god that can change the world, that favors his followers, a god that actually does things such as miracles and such things. IE answer prayers
B) a god that does nothing for people but has a side to him that punshes the wicked such as huricanes, weathquakes and hell.
C) a mixture of a and b
D) a god that does little in reality and just allows the man shape its world

Stunningly, people in the a catagory pray more
People in B pray less and people in C pray as much as A
THis shows that people are more inclined to a god that gives them things

These gods are all different takes on the christain god. As each person defeines god differently

If God does everything that he would love plus hate, kill plus let live and many other contradictions that exist in this Universe. Because if he does not kill he is not God because he does not do everything...then.

So do not despair my friends when you see victims of tragedies and wars. There are just like those in lovely communities and living peacefully because as God is creator he is the ultimate Owner of the Universe it is His right to destroy it.

If you don't believe me then ask yourself if love happens there is GOd but if tragedies happen where is He.... He is still there and doing all the killing too....

So what does God Do?........He Tests you all the time.......because Heaven is out of your imagination man.....EVERYONE THINK THIS BIG AND YOU WILL KNOW GOD'S TRUE MIGHT.......

If you don't understand.....Nevermind..........
