Do lower back tattoos on a girl mean they like anal sex? I have one on my back but I heard that after I got mine and was wondering what the rumor is.

I've never heard that I, think it's started and spread by girls that are to afraid to get a tattoo.

I don't think that is what lower back tattoos mean. Women get tattoos on their lower back because it is one of the few areas on a woman's body that will probably never stretch. That is why women get tattoos there not because they like anal sex. If you got a tattoo on your lower back and didn't get it for that reason just imagine how many other girls got tattoos in the same place without meaning that. Don't worry about that. However, tattoos on the lower back are kind of played out as a trend and kind of skanky.

Tattoos on the lower back? There are many bad rumors about tattoos. The answer is no. There are people who look at that area as a "target". But if that rumor was true then ankle tatt's are a sign of pimp ownership. I seriously don't think that flies. But there are those who do say that. I have seen girls with hidden words embedded in there back tatt's. That suggest that or something similar.

I have heard that rumor and it is just that: a rumor. I have a tat on my lower back, and, as another person stated, the lower back is one of the few areas on a woman's body that will not be succeptable to stretching. Many men think of tats on the lower back as "bullseyes" or "Yes for anal sex!" and some girls are catty and call girls with tats on our lower backs "skanks". Neither gender's summaries are true. I have been with my man for about three years and he loves my tattoo and constantly tells me how artistic and well-though-out it was. I don't really ever show it off, either. It's mine and I love it. (Gothic letter "M" in black and white.) Plus, he would never refer to me as a skank or my tat to be a bullseye (save for in fun). Find a good guy.

Its an implied stereotype.
They are called tramp stamps. And the reason is that girls wear low rise pants and the tattoo peeks out of them, implying that they are easy (since it appears they are trying to show it off, act like a tease and suggest other behavior) and most people also assume the girl likes doggy style since you won't see it if she's lying on her back (not necessarily anal sex, just the position). That's like saying people with tongue piercings ALWAYS like to suck d*ck. My friend has one, she's a lesbian :-P
Personally, I don't care for most tramp stamps because they all look the same (i.e. tribal, butterflies, flowers, names or any combination of those) and I like more original and meaningful tattoos but that's just MY opinion.
I don't think you are a tramp, more of less an unsuspecting person stuck in a bad stereotype. Keep your chin up and ignore the rude comments

just because you have a tattoo on your lower back does not mean you like anal sex. I think that rumor is very much immature. Tattoo locations do not relate to sex preferences.

Not unless you get "I like anal sex" tattooed there, then NO, that's not what they mean......lol ...that's the funniest thing I've ever heard..!! I don't think they actually mean anything depending where you get them, you know? Having one on your shoulder (for example) doesn't mean you're 'gay'....lol
If you want to get one there, then do it, personally I think they are a good spot to get one cuz you can show it off/cover it up easily.....

it doesn't mean anything. some stupid judgemental idiots say that it means all kinds of things about being a tramp and easy or whatever. that's just dumb. it's just a tattoo placed in a certain place. those people's opinions really don't mean much to anybody.

I've never heard that and I have alot of tats. I have heard of lower back tats being called "Tramp Stamps". But I think they are beautiful.
