Did you try drinking water upside down? Works every time for me. Just bend over and drink a glass of water from the opposite side of the glass. Try it...it really works! I've had others try it with success too. It works cause it changes your diaphram when you swallow in that position. (Holding your breath and the sugar thing never work for me.)

I understand where you are coming from here. I have had the hiccups for about 4 years now. Most of the time they are bearable, but sometimes they hurt so bad. I have seriously tried everything, and have found very little that helps at all. The first thing is sugar, it may not get rid of them, but it makes them more bearable. The second thing is go to the chiropractor. I didn't think this could help at first, but I am a firm believer, my hiccups are almost gone. Yeah!!

You could have GERD. Then an antacid would be need it. If not try to find your center of gravity an channel your energy to the center. The center is usually your core.

Try a teaspoon full of sugar! It always works for me. If that doesn't work, see a doctor. They shouldn't be going on for that long
