Well I hate to say that is bad but I wouldn't want you to date your brother.

I think it really depends on a lot of things.. I mean how long have you been dating your boyfriend? How serious are you guys? I'm going to assume that neither your dad or bf's mom is married..

I mean if you're not that serious with your boyfriend, and your dad seems really happy, then maybe not dating your boyfriend wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. I'm also assuming that you are young. You will have lots of opportunities at love. If your dad is older, this may be his only shot. Just try to consider everything. I wouldn't rush into any decisions right away. Talk to you dad and see how he feels. Maybe it was just a fling with your bf's mom, which may be awkward but can be overcome.

Communication is most important right now. Maybe down the road the four of you can talk about everything and take it from there.

Don't listen to the people who are saying it's none of your business. It is your business, involving two people you care about a lot (your dad and your boyfriend). With the information you've given us, nobody can answer whether it's bad. The real question here is: how does it make you feel? Uneasy, resentful? Or on the other hand, happy for your father? There's no single way you should feel about it, just evaluate how you DO feel and act accordingly. If you're uncomfortable with it, maybe it's time to go to your father and try to discuss it in a non-confrontational manner. Remember that while you have a right to your feelings, your father also has a right to date whoever he wants.

How old are you? Nothing that your father or your boyfriend's mother does has anything to do with the relationship you and he have. Maybe you will all work out, but who knows. If you really have to ask about dating your b/f after this, you are just looking for a reason to leave the relationship.

Even though you think your father is past the age when he should be dating - he's not! He probably hid it from you because he didn't want to upset you. Your dad deserves a life.....you'll get over the weird feeling soon enough. Chill and wish your dad the best with this lady.....after all she can't be so bad, she gave birth to your boyfriend. Hang in hun, it's all for a reason :)

Whether or not you stay with your boyfriend is up to you. Your father is your father and he should be able to do what he wants to without feeling he needs your approval. You are his child, not his mother. He obviously kept it behind your back for a reason, probably to avoid you freaking out on him. He is your father respect him and let him be happy. I am assuming your father is single.

Did your boyfriend know about it? If so, he should have trusted you enough to inform you of this information. Second of all, if you really love your boyfriend and you trust each other than why should you break up with him? The relationship between your dad and his mom should be irrelevent if you two are truely in love. Hopefully their little fling won't go on for more than a month or two then you won't have to deal with it.

Book a showing on Jerry Springer.

If this is for real, you need to have a serious talk with your father and your boyfriends mother.

Well it depends. Is your father married? If not then he is entitled to date whoever he wants, just as you are. I don't think you should break up with your boyfriend, even though he would become your stepbrother that shouldn't matter as long as you really love each other.

Well, you shouldn't break up with your boyfriend just because of this. Don't concern yourself with you father's relationship, unless he happens to be married to your mom. In that case, it would be okay to confront your father. Even if he marries your boyfriend's mom, you and your boyfriend aren't really related and you can still get married to him if you both choose to.
