I have spoken with some psychics. Do they also have this gift?

The gift of prophecy appears to be very common.

The gift of accuracy is, however, almost never supplied along with it.

Psychics are frauds. And Prophecy is a very rare gift. It has only been given to a few over the millenia that humans have inhabited this planet. And if psychics were given this gift, I bet you they would be testyifying for God instead of reading palms.

It depends upon your definition of the gift of prophecy. In one passage of the Bible it is described this way.

1 Corinthians 14:3 On the other hand, the one who prophesies speaks to people for their upbuilding and encouragement and consolation.

Christians have been know to receive prophetic revleations of future events, however that is a fairly rare manifestation of the gift. As to "psychics" only God can give a revelation of future events but demonic spirits who masquerade as "spirit guides" can reveal things to people based upon their knowledge of events in this world.

For instance, a demonic spirit who was aware of the plot to fly planes into the twin towers could have revealed this upcoming disaster to someone and it would have looked like they had received a prophetic revelation of a future event when in reality it would have just been based upon events that were already in the making.

2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,

I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.

prophesy is the rarest gift of all. it is the stating of what god intends to do. it is given in his words, and a sign of it being his words is given, and shortly comes about as said. as for what the god has stated he will do, it will come about exactly as stated, without any variation, unless he gives the possibility it can be avoided and how it can be avoided from coming to pass. the gift is always given to one who is willing and able to speak the words, and only the words spoken in the lord's name. once the words are spoken, the gift departs the chosen spokesperson until. or if the lord seeks to speak through the chosen spokesperson again. it may never return, or it may return in a few days. the danger is to the spokesperson. he may speak falsly thinking he/she is speaking for the lord, or in his name, when it is not true.

I'm not psychic, but I am psychotic and still do predictions. I predict that you will never realize that all psychics are fakes, no matter how much evidence accumulates.

I also predict that something good will happen to you or somebody near you eventually.

Ask any psychic whether they're psychic and they'll tell you that they're psychic.

I give it a low order of probability.
