Is it normal for your lips to get tingly and numb when you have a buzz. Thats what happens to me and thats how i tell when i start to feel the alcohol; my lips get tingly and numb.

no, but my teeth totally go numb when i am drunk. all my friends know this, so if i seem tipsy they ask if i can feel my teeth :)

my lips dont go numb but my nose and checks do. by reading the other answers it seems like going numb is pretty normal

I'm not 100% sure why that happens but it does the same thing to me and sometimes my tong too. I think that it is just because you are drunk and it's your bodies way of telling you that you should start to slow down a little.
