For a very long time now.. about 10 years (I'm 22), I've had a sneeze reflex whenever I have a very arousing thought on my mind. In fact, whenever I feel a normal sneeze coming on, I can force it by thinking of something extremely sexual. I've told a lot of people about it and no one has any clue.

And this isn't a joke either. Some people think I'm joking when I tell them this.

Cheers,
Mike

To my knowledge this isn't a typical response to arousing thoughts. Perhaps you've formed a conditioned response at some point. You may wish to see a behavioral psychologist to have this systematically unconditioned if this gets in the way (like if you sneeze while during cunnilingus, which seems inappropriate somehow). Otherwise, I don't think it's a big deal.

However, if you are on an antidepressant now, or were when you first developed this habit, this might account for it. A Very rare side effect of an antidepressant (can't remember which) is that some people achieve orgasm from sneezing. After awhile, you might have begun to associate these two so closely that arousal also caused sneezing.

BTW, another way to force a sneeze is to look into bright light.

Sounds like you had some kind of allergy problem or cold 10-11 years ago at the same time you saw or experienced something sexual. Psychologically you associated sneezing with sexual excitement. I believe you are developing what is called a fetish.

Maybe you'll get lucky and find a significant other who has an ongoing allergy problem and sneezes a lot. Should make for a perfect relationship!!

Sneezes are actually little mini-climaxes.

Think about it: the escalating the release...then the "feeling good" stage.

Maybe that has something to do with it.

WHen I was was little I used to make myself sneeze because it felt good. Yes...I'm a freak.
