Don't empty your bladder. It's impossible to sleep if you feel the need to pee. It may not be a lot of fun, but it is highly effective, and not addictive. Caution: Doing this long term is not healthy.

Caffeine makes me sick so to stay up I stay in a lot of light, turn on music, and make sure I am drinking water and that I am not comfortable. If I get comfortable I will fall asleep. So I make sure it is cold in the house or something like that.

Get moving around! Like, if you are stuck at a desk, studying or whatever, stop & take a brisk 15 minute walk. If you are on long drives, stop every 2 hours, get out, walk and get your circulation going. It gets blood to the brain and keeps you alert.

if u don't want caffeine then all hope is pretty much lost...a cup of joe wont harm u, im 15 and thats what im using for finals lol

snack on little portions of food,like nuts,chips, carrot,celery,etc..chew gum, deep in hale breathing..
