I want to get XM radio for my car. Do I just order the set-up from XM and have any car audio place install it, or should I take the car back to the dealer for installation? I'm not even sure what is involved in having XM radio in my car - do you have to remove the current radio that is in the car?

Buy the XM radio at best buy and they will install it for you. If you go to the dealer it's going to cost more than the radio is worth.

as long as your radio is xm ready you should be fine going to a aftermarket dealer and im positive it will be less expensive

I had XM put in in my conversion van at ideal purchase. I had the radio, & the motor vehicle kit, yet i wanted it stressed out into the fuse block. They did a specialist looking job, very low in value!!!
