Ur pulse rate nd heart rate r same thing because everytime ur heart contracts it pumps out blood into peripheral arteries whch u feel as a pulse. It is the condition for a normal heart. But sometimes the heart contracts weakly nd is unable 2 push out blood strongly to make it run thru arteries for u 2 feel a pulse so that the pulse rate nd heart rate r not same.Ht rate is more than pulse at that time.It is caled pulse deficit. It is seen in certain heart diseases.

Your pulse rate IS your heart rate. Your pulse is the surge of blood through an artery, and that surge is powered by your heart contracting, AKA, your heart rate.

You heart pumps blood through arteries which run throughout your body.
When you are taking your pulse, you are taking your heart rate through an artery.
