ok so im having this dance in a while...any good suggestions on how to ask this guy in a creative way....?...its a sady hawkins dance....

You just have to go up and ask the man for a dance. I go to this dance club every Sunday. And the rules are this any man or woman can go up and ask for a dance. the only way he can get out of it if he just finished and need a rest or had another appointment to dance with another . Other then that women as well as men can go up an ask to dance nothing wrong with women asking to dance in today environment

I say just go up to him and say "hey! so i was wondering if you wanted to go to the sadie hawkins dance with me?"

Why do you need to be creative? You are not asking him to marry you, just out to a dance.
Either ask him when you meet him next or send him an email or call him and tell him about the dance and tell him that you would be delighted if he went with you as your partner.

If you wish to dance with a specific guy, simply sit or stand near the guy with whom you wish to dance. When one of your favorite songs comes up, simply grab the guys hand, tell him that you like the song, and basically begin to pull him onto the dance floor.
Trust me, you will likely not have to pull very hard to get the guy onto the dance floor.

Just ask him...and accept his right to say 'No Thanks' if he does not wish to go.
Just say, 'Next Saturday there is a Dance...would you like to come with me?
"The Sadie Hawkins dance is on Friday...If you are available, I would like you to be my partner and come to the dance with me..."

try to have one or two short conversations with him and then ask 4 him a dance.

stick to the cute and slighty sexy way of draggin him onto the dance floor and starting it off unless ur not sure about how he feels about you then talk to him for a bit and keep mentioning that you want to dance.
