He kept you on hold for "comfort" and when he got home we was probably horny and wanted a fun time with a lil hottie. He might have more respect for you than her, but he wants what she's going to give.
Don't do anything- people change, sometimes they move on.

Sounds like you may be very fond of the guy. Be honest with yourself first of all. If you are just friends it should not matter that he is with another girl. It is kinda rude to only see you once if you are that good of friends but did he promise to be around all the time? Then if you have stronger feelings for him it is best to be honest with him. The worst that could happen is that he says you two are just the best of friends. In that case I would value his friendship and be happy for him, not jealous, that just causes problems believe me. It has taken me along time to figure some things like this out for myself but I sure am glad I know it now and hopefully I was of some help to you, Good luck and smile:)

Let him go. I am certain that you can find someone better than him, and as A former Marine, I can assure you that he would be doing the same thing if you were together, and he was in another country. Most of us Marines are dogs. There are some out there that are good, but for the most part, we are not. Let him go and find someone else. Just don't let the Marine see you he may try and kill someone. lol Good Luck

you are pissed off because you invested a lot of emotional time and effort in your communications and he gave you ever reason to believe that you would spend time together when he returned.
if you are still interested, ask him why he changed his mind. maybe he did just find someone else who took his interest away from you. or, maybe there was a misunderstanding and he thought your weren't really interested in him.
be casual and friendly and if he's over it tell him you are glad he has a nice girlfriend that you still would like to be his friend.

I did that once. except the marine thing...
I liked the girl in your position so much I scared my self away from her and right into the arms of the first hot girl I saw.
I ended up being friends with the girl in your position again but it took ten years and a chance encounter.
Good luck :)

Are you thinking more about him or yourself? Maybe your pride is hurt because the situation has not turned out the way you anticipated it. Accept him as your friend and realize you still have a life that may include him later as something more or not.

i think your upset as you are aware that this man used you as a comforter while he was away . then he returns and discards you .
your being upset is fine you were mislead.
on the upside at least you were of some help to one marine for a time.
too bad that they didn't train them to be better people and not just better soldiers

I think that he thinks you as a friend and you think him as a very good man that you might want to go out with.
I really do think you should talk to him about your feelings.
Like you being pissed off.
I sure that you know what i am talking about.
