How long does it take to heal? Are there any bad side effects? Anything?

can take up to six months to heal. easily to heal though. i had mine done with barbells, and have no regrets.

I've had mine done for a couple months now. They still get a little crusty from time to time, but they say that's pretty normal with female nipple piercings. Not a lot. Its' not nasty or anything. It's just common.

Your nipples aren't hard all the time. however, if you don't wear a padded bra, it's fairly evident that your nipples are pierced.

Piercing pain is minimal. at least i thought so, but i guess a lot of people site this as their most painful piercing. I didn't think it was so bad. I had a tandem piercing, meaning two piercers pierced at exactly the same moment. I'd recommend that to anyone.

I love mine!! They didn't hurt as much as I expected them too, and mine are healing really well, no pain or anything. There are no real bad side effects, mine are just a lot more sensitive (which is a good thing ;) ) they don't affect breast feeding, and if you take them out they will eventually go back to being normal. I think they look hot, and my boyfriend loves them too. Everyone talks about how gross they are, but it's not like you're showing them off to everyone.

here is a link to help you. .

and NO it does NOT effect breat feeding. the risks are always infection and another risk is called mastisis. which occurs ususlayy when the whole breast becomes infcted but it is EXTEREMELY rare. you can minimize your risk of infection by following the proper aftercare (never ever use alcohol, hyrdrogen peroxide or any oinetments liek neosporin on your piercings these all proong the healing process. and can cause an infection cause they are do drying and damaging to the [piercing. tey do more harm and NO good!!!)

at the bottom of this page it tells you abotu the related risk to nipple piercings.

and nipples will also not always be erect. (perky lol) a few friend have them and they say it isnt true.. you can always tlk ao tth epiercer abotu it. and im sure healing takes a few months... probably liek 6 but im not positive!! just make sure to wear clean bras and take great care of them! piercings dont take years to heal...

I love my nipple piercings, they aren't gross! And they aren't always hard either. My piercings took several months to heal. They were pretty sore for quite a long time. It hurt much more than any of my other piercings, but it has definatly be worth it. Just keep them very clean and watch for infection.

It depends on how quickly you heal normally. Myself, it took over a month. It hurt quite a bit until it was healed. It could get infected, that's a bad thing. I lost a little feeling in them.

when you take out the nipple ring, your nipples will always be hard and will never go down.
