I have a small 2'd degree burn on my left ear from my straightener [reccieved yesterday night].

Theres no pain or anything, unless its touched.

The outside of it is white [i guess from where its healing?] and the inner area is a light pink. My boyfriends mother [nurse]gave me some aloe vera for it to help with the burn.

Is there anything I can do to prevent infection or other treatments?

Just clean it with warm water and try not to touch it. It will take a few days to heal and will probably peel off.

Aloe vera is good for soothing the itchyness or pain that you might get.

You just have to wait and it will heal on its own.

Just keep it clean with soap and water. Don't be rough on it. Use aloe vera or what I have found that works even better is Lanacaine. But if you have aloe vera, use it.
It will heal on it's own.

i don't would desire to work out the %. The yellow stuff is tissue fluid and a bandaid isn't the appropriate element for this-its retaining the burn to moist - the two get a particular hydrocolloidal burn dressing at any drug keep, ot use gentle gauze and enable it dry out some yet not so as that it cracks.
