In california public schools are closed. I go to college and we are closed up. And anywhere that has to go to work...you have to be pretty racist to not take a holiday because the guy was black. Like Arizona until a few years ago.

It depends on your school. There are some open and some not open. I think they should be open, it's a pointless holiday if you can even call it a holiday.
