Did you have a defining moment that finally helped you lay to rest your feelings about a past relationship? I saw a former partner of mine posting on a blog yesterday, and his subtle form of "bullying" in his writing finally...finally! caused me to "flip my switch" and realize how glad I am we are no longer together. It took a long time for me to get over this guy, but seeing his writing was like a bell ringing inside me. Like a ghost finally put to rest.

I read a book about ****** men and saw him on every page. It made me realize he wasn't special- he was a classic textbook case, common as the dirt he was.

yeah actually just happened to me. i found out my ex was having sex with 3 different girls, none of them knew about the others. this was like 6 months after we were broken up but it took that long to finally realize he was a man-whore.

Actually, mine built up over time because my ex seemed to think I was his gold mine or something. I don't mind treating him to lunch or giving him gifts but when sometimes became frequent and then always - I thought it's about time we called it quits - Let the free-loader starve if he must!

Catching him in my bed with my cousin comes to mind - yup that did it.
