I drop my daughter off at daycare every morning. There are three pull in spots in front and if you don't get one of those, you must walk all the way around which is one long block. My daughter is still in an infant seat and it is heavy at nearly 30 pounds. With winter here it is easier and warmer to leave her in her seat and carry it.
Last month some jerk parked sideways (across the pull-ins) so he took up 2 spaces. Someone was correctly parked in the third space. The end of a high curb was in front of his front tire. It was perfect. I double-parked beside him so he was trapped. I leisurely opened my door, got my daughter out, ignored his requests to move my car first. I then signed her in, slowly and then went back out to my car. I inspected my car for any damage while the man fumed at my pokeyness.
He kept insisting that he had to get to work. I looked right at him and told him that perhaps next time he should park correctly in one space and then he wouldn't have this problem. I got in my car, smiled and gave him a friendly wave. He waved with one finger. I thought it was hilarious that someone would create so many problems for himself and then get mad at someone else for going along with the natural consequences of his actions.
This dad parked correctly after that but in a week he pulled his child out of daycare to go to a new place. Good riddance.

I don't blame that woman at all! I was just watching the movie "Friends with Money" the other day and that happened. I would probably do something like that to the person's car if they didn't seem to care that I was waiting for the spot. Karma, baby!!

One time I was parked correctly in a parking space, and when I came out of the gym, someone had parked so close to my car that I could not even open my driver door. I had to get in the car from the passenger door. I was so angry that I pulled my knife and was about to puncture the miscreant's tires when a thought suddenly hit me. Supposing this was a woman. It was late, and supposing she came out and had nobody to help her. My conscience could not endure that possibility, and I folded my knife and put it back in my pocket and drove away.

Yeah I told the apartment complex then I had the person's car towed at their expense. More than likely something of that nature is in your lease anyways. Long story short that person never parked in my spot again.

I used to get extreamly mad about people stealing my parking spots. I used to swear at people, and flip them the bird.
But now, i just forget it. I just pull into the first one i see, and i walk. Because by the time i'd find a good parking spot, i could be done with my shopping and on my way home.

Yes I have had my space stolen, and I left a nasty note in the windshield about the person being an inconsiderate asshole.

thats actually pretty pitiful. Get over it people.
I park in the back and walk, its usually quicker than trying to find a spot and its good excersise (somethign that all americans need).

Retaliation is a bad habit so better is to ignore the person.

If my space was deliberately stolen, I would give one of their car's panels a good kick.
