We will have been dating for 6 months exactly, and I want to do more then just a card and a box of candy.

Wrap yourself in ribbon (nothing else) and let him unwrap you.
Good Luck

Lots of options...

I don't know how old your boyfriend is or where you are located, so I will go through some options...

If he likes to potter around the house, power tools would be nice...
A good set of handyman tools(not powered) would be good too.

Outdoors-ey type of person: A golf kit, full or partial...
Bowling kit.
Fishing kit...
Camping kit

Indoors type person: Anything...:)
Books, gizmos or gadgets, an iPod or similar, a new turntable (record player) if you have old LPs, telescopes, a good treadmill...

Adventurous types:.. How about a nice holiday?

Type that likes: some really good, rare whiskey or wine...?

Then there is the evergreen stuff like Clothes, Cameras and Cell Phones....

Eventually what matters is the amount of thought that you put into the effort, not how much it cost... Lookout for something that he really wants or needs... Something he probably hinted at some time ago...:)

You have a very good point Hun. I am having that same dilemma myself. I always want to be affectionate and get a card and teddy bear. Make a romantic dinner and desert. But I have only been going out with my boyfriend for 2 months, so I don't want to push it ya know. I wish you all the best and keep me in your thoughts too as I don't want to go over board and scare him. You at least have been with him a little longer and have feel for how he will react.

He should take you out to dinner...and you should treat him to dessert if you know what I mean. Make it special. What else do men love more than that?

If you insist on getting him something else. How about a watch or a I "heart" Kendra T-shirt? And you can have a I "heart" *** T shirt? It's cute. Or a little overnight getaway somewhere.
