So this guy I am interested asked me out a couple of days ago. I said I would love to, and we made plans to go see a movie, etc. Unfortunatly, I got sick but I told him in advance so it wouldn't be too much of a problem.
This wouldn't be too bad except it seems to happen almost everytime he tries to plan something with me. Something always gets in the way. I'm afraid he's going to think I'm making excuses not to see him. Is there any way I can let him know I'm interested and make it up to him?

Tell him what you said here, you like him and want to see him but some times you get busy and things don't work out how you plan and ask him how can I make it up. Just don't do something unsavory if thats his idea of making things up to him

Yes, you be the one to schedule the date next time. Just phone him up and tell him that its really important to you to do this and he will like it. Its shows that your a person that can take the lead and get her life back in order instead of making excuses not to go out, guys hate that and could stop asking. Go out and have a good time.Good Luck

tell him what you just told us, then make a date and make it on a good day that you are both not busy. but make sure that he knows that you are not making excuses, that can be a major source of confusion for him. because that is a major area of insecurity, and he may give up

try not to plan anything, get his number and when you feel good give him a ring and go out there and then it could be quite exciting
