I have tried hanging out with her, We went to the Seahawks-Cowboys game, she wanted to see the Cowboys win, she had a little hat and jacket, she started crying when they lost. I wanted the Seahawks. I love having her around but I don't relate to her at all. one is age, second she's a girl, and finally she doen't have the same mom. I am told she looks like me, but my step mom is mostly white, so I don't see it since she has blonde hair, green eyes. She doesn't know Portuguese as much, she speaks english clearly without an accent. I have my friend living in my house who's a girl and my girlfriend, and they always play with her... She wants to play with me all the time, but I don't.. actually I can't. See doesn't understand that Im busy. How do you explain to her that she can't bug me, and how can we connect as siblings... ?

I feel stupid asking this.

Don't feel stupid...things like this have to be dealt with....your little half-sister could be purple and pink, she is a little human being with needs like yours....so it doesn't hurt the little time you are around her to include her in what you are doing...she will be grown up and gone from your life one day and you want good memories right? Girls that age love men anyone who is a father figure. They love them to cuddle them and play games...etc...I know you are not in the mood for her but try meeting her halfway. If you are reading the paper put her in your lap and read to her.....she will be satisfied and treat you like a king. Some of my happiest memories are from my uncles when I was a little girl her age...and to this day I remember the times they spent with me teasing and having a good time at family gatherings.
Best of luck to you ....Mama jazzy geri

u didn't say how old u r, (sounds more like you are an adult) but it is really hard to deal with a 4 year old no matter what she is to u.
just spend what time you can with her, thats all you can do.
as far as connecting, with the age difference its going to be hard, try playing games and reading to her (things that are more appropriate for her age)
