The disease is called lymphadema. It has destroyed her lymph sysytem's ability to rid her body of toxic lymph fluid. Have you any information that may help her with pain reduction as we have been unsuccessful in finding anything here in Canada that has truly good effects. Please share any information you have that you know to be used and/or proven in helping relieve the awful symptoms of this disease.

Since you're asking for any info this site provides some and also several links which might be helpful:

I saw your question on german Yahoo Answers first. There are a lot of web pages dealing with this topic, but I don't think (as far as a non-medical doctor can assess by reading some pages) they'll provide you with different information than english sites do.

Lympedema (you may prefer lymphoedema) is indeed difficult to deal with. There's nothing particularly toxic about lymph, but swelling up like a toad is nobody's idea of fun. I'm sure the basic things that are known to be useful you already know about, and your desperation is now showing. Grasp at straws if you must, but please keep in mind that you're in a situation that's a charlatan's dream, so be careful.

You might try some monavie juice. It has helped relieve many other painful conditions, including my wife's bursitis and tendenitis.

I don't know what pain meds or treatment your wife has already tried and I apologize if I suggest something that's been tried and failed but to help your wife cope with her lymphedema, she could look into compression therapy (edema) and morphine (pain).
