Yes, some are stronger, some have pointy ends. Some are so flimsy.
Sometimes I shop just for the type of bag I need.

No. I shop where the good prices are.
I've never heard of vegetable bags.

No, but this sounds like an interesting problem. What do the bags look like? All the stores I go to they are just plain, clear plastic bags - nothing special at all.
