Best advise, You must have a good quality hair straightener. I recommend the Chi straightener. I have really thick curly hair and it works really well. I can straighten my hair in less than an hour which is fast compaired to a target bought straightener. If you are not looking for a pin straight look, blow dry sections with a large round brush. Prior to straightening use a leave in conditioner and a straightening cream. Finish off look with a smoothing serum. I like Victoria's secret very sexy smoothing serum. Smells good and tames fly aways. Good luck!

after washing, use hair mayonnaise. The conditioners weight the hair down and make it appear straighter. Follow it by a balm or an oil, blow dry and flat iron it.

4things- use a shampoo specially designed to straighten out hair. apply a straightening product before blow drying (Loreal Straight Up is a good one). blow dry from root to tip with one of those blow dryer heads that is designed to straighten your hair. splurge on a quality straightener designed for your hair type (i've found my best at Sally Beauty Supply shops)

Go to a professional, or try buying a better straightner.
The dumb way is comb your hair for about 100 times, but I dont think you should really try it.

Go to a salon and have them put a relaxer in your hair. It's not permanent but it'll work for a while.
