Put a drop of Tea Tree Oil on it. Should stop the pain and discomfort almost immediately. Go see a dentist as soon a possible too. Poor dental hygiene can lead to medical problems.

I have had many problems with my teeth so i know what it feels like to have really bad toothaches. Seriously when they're that bad nothing at all helps. The thing that does help a little is to apply pressure around the tooth that hurts. You could also rinse your mouth out with warm salt water that sometimes helps. Everybody is different but for me codeine really helps for toothaches so go to a pharmacy and ask the pharmacist for Tylenol 1s (Tylenol with codeine) There is a prescription drug called naproxen that really helps too. It's an anti-inflamitory so it helps the swelling. Don't buy oragel because it tastes horrible and it doesn't work. Whenever i get a real bad toothache I go to the emergency room and they usually give me a shot of Demerol. But the only way to permanently get rid of a toothache is to go to the dentist. You probably need a root canal.
I hope you feel better soon. Toothaches are the worst pain that anyone can ever have.

If you have some cloves or clove oil put some on your tooth. The clove oil should be put on a piece of cotton ball. If you have any aleve take just 1 as 2 will probably make you sick. I feel sorry for you and hope you get to the dentist asap....Get some oragel.

If its a crack you can put bread over it to keep it from getting air contact. Clove oil helps also Tylenol and aspirin.
If its infection you can take peroxide and boil the area, it will hurt like heck, but feels better afterward usually a cap full will do. Then get to the Dentist

Sorry to hear, Toothaches are terrible, My dentist told me to take ibuprofen up to 800 milligrams as apposed to tylenol. He says Ibuprofen reduces swelling which is what teeth need, not pain reducers as what Tylenol does ... good luck .. Ibuprofen works for me!
